I don't know what I contribute to such a sad ocassion. All I know is that to me Robert was a truly lovely person, and the rarest of them all - genuine, in what he said and did. He always made a positive impact on whatever he was doing, and remained professional (though completely undervalued in many peoples opinion). Whilst I don't pretend to Roberts best pal, or know a great deal about his past - there were many similarities and 'snap' moments to made me appreciate him and warm to him in a approving way - not just because he was a fellow Bairn. I did say to Jackie and Robert one day in the office, that had I been a Livvy based person then he'd be my best friend - the ever lovely Jackie just laughed, but I think Robert was somewhat touched. Not an honour (LOL!) I would bestow on any mortal (even in jest) without great thought and care. Whilst he was a biker boy, he still had an MR2 - like myself, and he was quite taken when I brought it to work one day. Gave him the keys, but I think he just sat and reminised for a wee while. Ah, I have Mr Billy Angus's lovely picture of the boy on my phone - and its there to remind me specifically to remember Robert, and to try and be a better person like he was. Leave things better than when I found them.... well, young pup - I'm still trying but its only because your there reminding me to keep trying ;-) Jackie, your as much in my thoughts as Mr M is. I've glad you visit and work so close, its comforting to those who remain in Banta to see you out and about. You guys were a great couple - never forget that. Take care, Mark
