Robert was born in Falkirk on 30th July 1971. He was brought up in Standburn by his lovely family and turned out to be a very honest, respectable and very handsome young man. I met Robert in 1991 when we both worked together, he went to live in Holland for 1 year and on his return we became a loving couple. We set up home together and lived in Bathgate for eight years then moved to Whitburn. I miss him and love him with all my heart, he was my perfect partner and my sole mate for 14 wonderful years. Life will never be the same without my darling Rab. At the young age of 36 years Robert passed away on 4th July 2008 from a complication with his Diabetes. He had so much to live for, its cruel that his life was cut so short. Robert had a passion for motorcycles and playing the guitar. I miss listening to him playing his guitar to tunes by the Eagles, big country, Pink Floyd and many more during our cosy nights in together. Anyone that was honoured enough to have met Rab and been a part of his life will say he was a very special person to know with lots to offer. He worked hard and was very proud of his posessions, he took a lot of pride in everything he done, a great guy that would help anyone with anything and that made him the fantastic man we all knew him for. Robert is sadly missed by all that he has left behind. I love you honey and think about you day and night. I hope we will be together again one day.
